About Hydrate PHX

Free Water for Phoenix
When Heat Turns Dangerous.

Sponsor-funded. Community-powered. Zero cost to those who need it.

If you need water, you get water.
No application. No ID. No questions.
The heat doesn't check your eligibility. Neither do we.

Phoenix heat is intensifying. March 2026 broke records before spring ended. The federal funding that expanded cooling centers, extended hours, and emergency transportation expires after this year. No replacement has been identified. The gap between what people need and what exists is growing. Hydrate PHX was built to fill part of that gap — not by creating new infrastructure, but by putting water into the hands of people who need it through the systems Phoenix already has.

Every Decision
Has a Reason.

Paper, not plastic.

Shelf-stable aseptic cartons survive Phoenix heat without refrigeration. 730-day shelf life. Lighter to ship. No single-use plastic. When someone hands you water at 115 degrees, the package should survive the conditions that made it necessary.

Funded before we pour.

No production run starts until sponsorship covers every cost. No debt. No hope-based budgeting. Every unit of water we distribute is funded before it ships. That is how we keep the water free.

Acknowledged, not advertised.

Sponsors' names appear on cartons as acknowledgment under federal tax law. No calls to action. No pricing. No endorsements. The carton is water, not a billboard.

Built on what exists.

We distribute through Heat Relief Network sites and community events across Maricopa County. We do not build new infrastructure. We put water into the systems Phoenix already has.
